What I like about poems

I like poems although they do get me frustrated. Sometimes they are hard to understand. If it's because the words that are used or trying to understand the point they are trying to get across. What I like about them is that they are enticing. They are like the genre of any movie, you have horror, drama, thriller, love story, or mystery. I like how some are deep too and, sometimes, long. Like a movie they make you think, hard, about everything from the beginning to end. Sometimes I get lost as if I'm in another world. I like how there are different poems and that you can do lots of things with them, for example there are some that are put in a shape. I also like that if one person were to read it, what they think the author was writing about, would be completely different from another person that were  to read it.

Happy graduation

Well it's close to the end of the school year for some. Some may get out early and for others they have to stay in school a little longer. This means graduation! Along with the celebration comes a party with presents, relatives over, good food, cake, and a fun time. I wouldn't mind to relive my graduation day. Although one thing I would like to change was the weather (it was cold and windy). This may not have anything to do with art but all life is art. I just want to say congrats on passing eight grade and transforming into a young adult and becoming mature with responsibilities. Congrats to the new graduates being the next generation for the new world. I hope that to all graduation is a wonderful experience for you and that you have the best time.

Me, Myself and I

One of my favorite songs/song lyrics is Me, Myself & I by G-EAZY featuring an artist by the name of Bebe Rexha. I like this song not only because of the beat but because the lyrics are in a way relatable and deep. The song basically talks about friends, money, fame, and them self. It goes into depth about how fame comes with a price and how life was before it came. It also goes into talking about how they are surrounded by fake people because all they want is the money and how they are coping with all of it. In the song they explain how life goes and how far they've come with the struggles within themselves. Within the song sends a strong message. I think that is important because in this era children, teens, and adults alike have lost their morals. Although some may have not it doesn't change the fact that every person in this day and age don't respect and appreciate value. This is some of the lyrics from the song, "It changes though now that I'm famous/Everyone knows how this lifestyle is dangerous/ I found how to cope with my anger/I'm swimming in money/ They all take the money for granted/But don't want to work for it tell me now, isn't it funny?/ Solo ride until I die/Cause I got me for life."

Ruins

I think it's interesting when even in the most destructed places you can find beauty. Like ruined places that have been teared down long ago but now have life growing all over. To me I think that it shows a powerful message. The message is that no matter what you are still beautiful or that nothing can stop you from achieving anything. Really anyone can think otherwise of the view (but I'm just giving my opinion). It may be nature's way of taking back what belongs to her, that was taken. But it also shows how much destruction we have done to our own 'home'. Before we came along it belonged to the natural inhabitants of the earth and was their home before it became ours. I would love to visit a place that once caused havoc had then created such a scenery of beauty. Not that I like that anyone died or that treacherous actions were taken to hurt people because of some disagreement but because it is a magnificent thing.

2016 Fashion

My question today is, do you think that less clothing is fashion? Back in the early 1900s were when the clothing for women was on the peak of getting (a bit) shorter. It was in the years of the 1930s when the skirts shortened to below the knee. In the 1960s clothing became shorter and looser. As years passed by the fashion of both men and women kept evolving. In some cases the evolution of fashion has either been greatly influenced by popularity and/or rebellion, etc. As some may say 'bigger is better' what some may say now is, 'less is better'. It wasn't until years later in the twenty-first century when the mindset of people has changed drastically. Now, these days, parents let their children leave the house wearing whatever they want and don't have a problem. Although there are some people who may have common sense fact is no one can change the fact that less clothing is socially acceptable.

Importance of plays

I may have been to a couple of plays but on school field trips. I think plays can sometimes be boring if it's not your 'cup of tea'. Honestly it was one of the first and only plays I had been to but I wouldn't mind to go to another one. The positive thing about plays is that they get you out of the house. Your brain can get some exercise by paying close attention, because you can't rewind it like a movie. Depending on what you go to see it keeps you entertained and takes you to another place and forget your worries. I think it is inspiring and make people to want to get involved. If you were to join and  make it a hobby (or something like it) that it could give you opportunities. For visual learners it can help them better understand things. Not to mention It can help people improve in reading and writing skills.

Big Eyes

Has anyone seen Big Eyes? I have and although the paintings are interesting it is quite extraordinary, the art. When I first had heard the name I thought it was going to be a weird and boring movie. Instead it made my mind more broad and think about the meaning of art. I was actually surprised the movie was based on a true story. The artist who made this happen, name is Margaret Keane. Margaret was married and had a child then divorced and remarried after relocating to San Francisco. After all the events that took place Walter Keane (her second husband) plagiarized and took credit for her work. In the end, for all the pain Walter had caused Margaret, she ended up having won justice. There is a quote by Margaret Keane and it is a favorite, it says, "Gradually it dawned on me that I was painting my own inner emotions. Those children were asking: 'Why are we here? What is life all about? Why is there sadness and injustice?' All those deep questions. Those children were sad because they didn't have the answers. They were searching." —Margaret Keane

Where did they come up with that?

Does anyone ever wonder where in the world a person with talent came up with a crazy idea that they thought? I think a lot about those things sometimes, which in my case it would be overthinking. I mean of coarse there had to of been a moment in their life that something either horrific or wonderful happened to them. It's the thought that counts, I remember hearing that from somewhere.  That is why I think it's kind for people that care about their work are willing to sell their art to help save a life in need.  If you think about it the artist is willing to sell their work, that they put effort and their time into, to help someone suffering. Sometimes I wonder what's it like to be in the mind of an artist. And to see how they see world, imagine having the 'eyes' of an artist (if that makes any sense). If I could one whole day, think like an artist and and feel what it's like to be one, I would understand them in an interesting way. I would not mind to have an artistic mind.

Which is your favorite season?

Which season is your favorite season? I don't exactly have a favorite. Although there are advantages and disadvantages. For winter I like the music but sometimes it can get annoying. I do like the presents and holiday treats. In autumn I like halloween because of the candy and fun activities. Spring is alright I like the rain, but sometimes it can ruin your plans. Snow just like rain can make me feel sometimes down, not to mention get you sick. But it's the same with any season, well some. For summer there is so much you can do, like go to a swimming pool, a water park, soak up some sun or eat ice cream without getting chills and much more.

The power of color

Does anyone remember Edward Scissorhands? It was kind of a childhood movie that I remember, I didn't watch the movie not long ago but it wasn't recent. When I watched the movie it made me realize how much of an impact color can have on a scenery and the mood. Not to mention how weird it was and some things that I completely didn't remember in the movie. As I was watching the movie I couldn't help but be bothersome by the towns people with their cheery voice and ugly bright colored sense of fashion. Although it was made in the early 90's the acting wasn't exactly great, at least in my opinion. I thank Tim burton for bringing color into our lives. And with all his crazy weird ideas give people the opportunity, who felt like an outcast dream and feel like they can fit in. Please leave a comment in your opinion of the movie. I would enjoy to see what other people think.

Today's Music

My question for today is what do you think about the music of this generation? If you were to compare music from between mid 1980s to early 2000s and now could you spot the difference? Before the 21st century music was about heartbreak and  the lyrics made sense. Now if you were to pay attention to the songs it would sound as if someone just put a bunch of words that rhyme in a hat and picked them wearing a blindfold. The lyrics to these songs now are downgrading women, talk about drugs and making 'love' to their partner. Whereas music before this time period was more upbeat and had truth in the lyrics.  People have lost inspiration and simply gave up. Maybe not EVERYONE has given up and there is SOME good music but still. All the music industry and artists want now is the money and that proves that money can change people. Bottom line is what happened to the good music, please leave some comments I would like to know what you think.

Art is beauty

Art is beautiful, one painting or any random piece of artwork can have multiple meanings. like they always say a picture is worth a thousand words. Some may think it's dark or creepy or whatever they may understand from the work but that's the beauty. Everyone is different and that's what makes the world a more interesting place. I think that for some people when they draw or paint it's their way of trying to understand the world. Imagine a world where place or time is without art for a second. And what do you see, what do you imagine? Is it dark, brighter, some twisted place or the same as this world? Then just think about what the mood will be like and how everyone would look. Art is music and so many other things just think of how many lives it has saved, you or a loved one because they can relate to the message the artist is giving.

Henna Art

What do you guys think of henna art? I think it's interesting and the fact that all your doing is making a bunch of swirls and shapes. It may look easy but I'm sure it's hard. I actually had a friend that made a henna on my forearm. It had a little flower in the center and around it was all these other shapes. After a while as I was looking at the art I decided to color it in. I thought it didn't look so bad it actually made it look more interesting. I personally like henna art because anyone can do it, but with patience and steadiness. I would recommend for anyone to try henna, but be care full because some people have had an allergic reaction. I hope you guys enjoyed this blog, whoever may be reading this.

Valentine Day, holiday or joke?

February is coming and that means, valentines day! Who is excited? I know I 'm not, not exactly, considering it is not an actual holiday. I think it is a waste of time and money. Not to mention it is just another way to bring back sad memories. I don't think anyone would want to be reminded of an unhappy memory. I don't exactly hate the holiday but neither do I love it. I think it is inappropriate, especially to see children celebrating it. If you think about it, what message do you think you are sending them? Maybe they understand what the so called holiday is but maybe they don't. I would like to read whoever maybe reading this thinks and their opinion on the subject.

MLK Day

So Martin Luther King's day had passed. I was visiting a friends house and I had almost forgot. I feel bad so I'm writing this blog just for him although it's a little late. I think that some of us can agree that we did the same thing, taking that day for granted. I for one love Mr. King for defending his rights and taking a stand. I think he was such a great and strong leader. At times there are people who still have their differences. Whenever I go on the internet, especially on youtube, sometimes I would read the comments. There would be harsh comments but the one that always gets me mad are the prejudice comments. One day I hope that the racist and prejudice thinking is gone and everyone is equal, for once where no worries about how they look or try to pretend to be something they're not.

In loving Memory

I know that I talked about past events, but now I want to talk about most recent events. I had heard that David Bowie and Alan Rickman had died. They both were great entertainers. David being a singer and part actor I'm sure inspired many. Non the less Alan Rickman (a.k.a. Snape) was also another great actor who starred in many movies and co-wrote. One of my best memories of Alan and David were their roles in the Harry Potter series and Labyrinth. I'm positively sure they both will be dearly missed. To their fans, family, and friends I hope the best. May they rest in peace next to other many and great actors and singers. If anyone has favorite movies or songs from them or singers and actors who have passed, please a comment.

R.I.P Paul

There are many people that have died along with the famous actor Paul Walker. Paul Walker is one of my favorites. Paul Walker was an artist, he was great at what he did. Sadly his career ended November 30, 2013, in Valencia, California, it was a tragic loss. That day Walker fans lost a part of themselves, along with his ex and his daughter. Paul was a charitable man he gave to the people in need. It's sad that many of his work went unnoticed. Even if Fast and Furious 7 may have not been popular in the box office it was still a favorite. Aside from the movie, the music contributed to Paul was. 'When See You Again' came out it was on top of the charts and since then has been one of my most favorite songs.
